The Founder
Amanda McCabe
Founder & Lead Event Planner, Beacon & Berkeley
Founder Amanda McCabe has been in the event business for over a decade. She credits her background in catering, venue management, floral and event rentals to her creative approach in design. Amanda has made the company’s goal to work with the client to prioritize, plan and execute both in terms of logistics and design aesthetic in a manner that is authentic to the client.
Today, Beacon and Berkeley is proud to be involved with various animal, veteran and children’s charities, and to extend invitations to all of our couples to join in with charitable events we are a part of.
Amanda and team have been featured in Style Me Pretty, Inside Weddings, The Knot, Boston Magazine, The Washingtonian, Brides Magazine, Modern Luxury, Carats & Cake, and Borrowed and Blue to name a few.

How we work together
An unhurried, thoughtful process from your first hello to the last slow dance — designed so you feel held, not managed, at every step.
01
The Conversation
We sit down — really sit down. We want to know how you host, how you feel at a party, and what kind of day will make you both say, "This was exactly us."
02
The Vision
From palette and mood to paper and florals, we build a design world that is quietly, unmistakably yours — rooted in the nostalgic and elevated by the chic.
03
The Build
We curate, negotiate, and coordinate every vendor and detail. The people we bring in are the best for your celebration specifically — not just the most available.
04
The Day
We are on the ground, invisibly. Every contingency is handled before you'd ever know it needed to be. You walk in. You are welcomed. You celebrate.
